Our Story

Based in West Virginia, brothers Zach and Dillon Baker founded Baker Co. Leatherworks on the ideas of faith, family, and entrepreneurship while providing their customers with high quality handcrafted leather goods.

For as long as they can remember, Zach and Dillon have tried to find their own path to a life filled with purpose and joy. It wasn’t until Zach turned his interest of leatherwork into a hobby, that a path began to emerge. He then introduced Dillon to his passion and through making their first wallet together (known as The Derby) they realized the potential in their craftsmanship. The brothers instantly became passionate about sharing their product with others. They gifted their first few handmade items to family and friends and through encouraging feedback, both decided to take the leap and begin Baker Co. Leatherworks. As they grow, their passion, faith, and joy grow with them.

Our Brand

Zach’s horse Hobbs, a retired race horse, became the inspiration for naming their collection of products. Hobbs’ confidence and love of the spotlight made him the perfect choice for the logo of Baker Co. Leatherworks. His silhouette can be found stamped on every product.

Just like race horses, our products are held to the highest standards. Starting with leather, we use 100% full-grain Italian hides. Additionally, we rigorously searched for the best hardware that compliments the beauty, strength, and functionality of our products.

It is one thing to use the best materials, but the workmanship means just as much. Each product is crafted by hand and we continuously inspect every detail from start to finish to ensure that each customer receives a stunning product that lasts.
